Foundations for Life: The Early Years Playbook Grades 1-3
The Course: A flexible 2–4 hour masterclass you can complete at your own pace, on your own time.
This course is designed to guide parents through the critical developmental years of early childhood, with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy growth, emotional regulation, and independence.
Parents will learn what milestones to look for in reading, writing, and math development, and how to support these skills through simple, everyday activities. The course also highlights early warning signs of learning challenges and provides guidance on when to seek additional support such as, tutoring, interventions, or assessments.
In addition, parents will gain practical tools for building routines, managing behavior through connection and discipline, reducing screen dependency, and encouraging social skills through play. With a focus on real-life strategies, this course empowers parents to confidently support their child’s development at home and beyond.

“Read to them. Let them be bored. Teach them patience. Play board games together.
Teach them to take care of their space and belongings—putting things away and doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.
The biggest challenge I notice is behaviour—children becoming too self-absorbed, often encouraged without realizing it, and having very little work stamina. Many children (and parents) think they are bored because they are used to constant entertainment.
We need to build tolerance for doing things that aren’t easy.”
